Authorize Inventory Issue – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to select and authorize inventory issue transaction. The inventory issue details are recorded based on the material request. The material request is the only reference document for the creation and maintenance of the issue transaction. Inventory issues are used to deliver the required quantity of materials defined in the material request to the various departments/organization units. The inventory issue transaction can be authorized only if the user has the requisite “Authorize” permission. You can authorize only those transactions, which are in “Active” status. In addition you can return an active transaction by specifying the reason code for returning back the Transaction. For this to happen you need to click on the “Return Issue” Push Button after specifying the reason code.

The “Select Inventory Issue” page allows you to search and select the inventory issue transaction for authorization. The “Authorize Inventory Issue” page allows you to authorize the inventory issue transaction. The ”View Lot Details” page allows you to view the lot related information. The “View Starting Serial Details” page allows you to view the serial number information. The “Financial Information” page allows you to specify the financial details of the inventory issue. The “View Item Substitute” page allows you to view the item substitutes. The “Stock Status Review” page allows you to inquire the stock status information. The “Disposition Review” page allows you to inquire the disposition. The “View Warehouse Details” page allows you to view information on the warehouse from where the items are issued.
