Authorize Maintenance Issue – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to select and authorize the maintenance issue transaction. Maintenance issues are used to issue material from the warehouse for fabrication or reconditioning or for some machining purposes. The maintenance issue details are recorded based on the maintenance work order or maintenance plan. The maintenance work order is the reference document for the creation and maintenance of the issue transaction however issue can happen against the maintenance plan also. Maintenance plan may or may not have work orders associated to it . The maintenance issue transaction can be authorized only if the user has the requisite permission.

The “Select Maintenance Issue” page allows you to select the maintenance issue transaction for authorization. The “Authorize Maintenance Issue” page allows you to authorize the maintenance issue transaction. The “View Item Details” page allows you to view details of items. The “View Lot Details” page allows you to view lot related information. The “View Serial Details” page allows you to view the serial number information. The “Financial Information” page allows you to view and authorize the financial information of the maintenance issue. The “Stock Status Review” page allows you to inquire the warehouse stock information. The “Disposition Review” page allows you to inquire the disposition. The “View Item Substitute” page allows you to view the item substitutes. The “View Warehouse Details” page allows you to view information on the warehouse from where the items are issued.
