Create And Authorize Production Issue – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to issue items through production issue from a warehouse. The production issue details are recorded based on the production order (Process Production) or work order (Discrete Production). The production order or the work order is the reference document for the creation and maintenance of the issue transaction. The work order records all the information regarding the tasks to be performed and the item requirements. The issue transaction records the issue of the required quantity of the material from the warehouse against the requesting production order or work order.

You can record multiple issues of an item against a single production work order. Items in all stock statuses defined for the production issue transaction in the “Stock Status Definition” component can be issued depending upon the input stock status. For example if the requested stock status is accepted , item can not be issued in rejected status, however if the requested stock status is accepted, item can be issued in ‘Conditionally accepted’, ‘Consignment In’ statuses also. Item can be issued in rejected status only if the requested stock status is “Rejected”
