View Sales Issue – A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to select and view the details of the sales issue that is fired automatically when the pack slip requires to issue the material from the shipping point . This also gets fired automatically in Pick order(sales) and Pick sheet(sales) where the options of initiating an issue have been provided. Sales issue basically refers to the issuance of Items for the customer from the warehouse. Pack slip follows the sales order, where the all-sales order items are scheduled and packed and are made ready to transport out to the customer.  Before that all sales order items are allocated in the warehouse to ensure that material is hard reserved for the customer. Sales issue is triggered at warehouse level. If a pack slip involves n number of warehouses, n number of issues will be triggered in the inventory because all inventory transactions are based on Warehouse.

 The sales order records the customer requirements. The sales order contains information regarding the item details that are to be billed based on the customer’s request, the TCD (Tax Charge Discount) details, the VAT details, the promotion types to be adopted for the ordered items, the contribution details of the Sales Person/Team and other details related to the sales order. You can only view the sales issue transaction in the Inventory module.

The “Select Sales Issue” page allows you to search and select a transaction for which you want to view the sales issue details. The “View Sales Issue” page allows you to view the details of the sales issue.
