View Engineering Change Request

This page allows you to view the request details for the selected engineering change request. You can enter the number identifying the engineering change request to view the request details. The system retrieves the corresponding ECR details onto the respective fields. Further, you can also view other information related to engineering change request using the links provided at the bottom of the page.

Select the “View Engineering Change Request” link at the bottom of the page.

The “View Engineering Change Request” page appears.

Enter the following details:

ECR No.

The number identifying the engineering change request. The system checks for the existence of the engineering change request.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the engineering change request details.

The system displays the following:

ECR Desc.	The description of the engineering change request.
	Zoom facility available.
ECR Status	The status of the engineering change request. It can be "Active", "Inactive", "Authorized", "Resolved" or "Implemented".
Maintained By	The “Maintained By” control unit for which the login user has EC Create permissions.
EC Desc.	The description of the engineering change.
	Zoom facility available.
Problem Desc.	The description of the problem associated to the engineering change request.
	Zoom facility available.
Benefits Desc.	The description of the benefits that are the outcomes of implementing engineering change.
	Zoom facility available.
ECR Type	The type of the engineering change request. It can be "Engineering", "Production", "Subcontracting" or "All".
Priority	The priority set to the engineering change requests.
Requested By	The person or department who has requested the engineering change.
EC Benefits	The cost benefits accrued in implementing engineering change expressed in local currency value.
EC Need Date	The date on which the engineering change is required.
Requested Date	The date on which the engineering change is requested.
EC Impl. Cost	The cost of implementing the engineering change.
Addl. Information	The additional information pertaining to the engineering change.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View EC Steps” link at the bottom of the page to view the engineering change steps.
Select the “View Item Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the item revision details.

Select the “View Component Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the component revision details.

Select the “View Process Plan Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the process Plan revision details.

Select the “Attach Notes” link at the bottom of the page to modify the notes details.

Select the “View Implement Engineering Change” link at the bottom of the page to view the implementation details of engineering changes.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the engineering change request.
Created Date	The date on which the engineering change request was created.
Edited By	The login ID of the user who modified the engineering change request.
Edited Date	The date on which the engineering change request was modified.
