Create Day Types – A summary of the activity
The day type indicates the type of the day as a working or non-working day. For example, a day type representing “Half-Work” or “Full-Work” indicates a half or full working day or a day type representing “Nor-Hol” or “Nat-Hol” indicates a normal or national holiday. You can attach an appropriate timetable to each of the day type either by entering the same or by making use of the help facility. In order to indicate the type of the day as a holiday, you need to select the flag “Holiday”. In such a case, a timetable is not attached.
You can use the day types to map onto each day of the company calendar and also assign appropriate shift details to each of the day type. On specifying the necessary details, the system generates the day types. Links are provided at the bottom of the page to modify the day types and create the shift details for the day type.
