This page allows you to select the requests to be viewed. You can specify the status, requested and required dates of the engineering change and also can specify the item or the component for which you want to fetch the details. On furnishing the above information, the system retrieves the corresponding engineering change request details in the multiline. You can select each record in the multiline and initiate the necessary links to view the details.
Select the “View Engineering Change Request” link under the “Engineering Change Control“ business component.
The “Select ECR To View Details” page appears.
Enter the following details:
ECR Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the engineering change request. You can select from "All", "Active", "Inactive", "Authorized", "Resolved" or "Implemented". The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. |
Requested By |
The person who is responsible for requesting the engineering change. |
Requested Date |
The date on which the engineering change is requested. |
ECR Desc. |
The description of the engineering change request. The system checks whether the description of the engineering change request exists. |
EC Need Date |
The date on which the engineering change is required. |
Item Code |
The code identifying the item undergoing an engineering change. |
Help facility available. |

Component |
The code identifying the component under engineering change. |
Help facility available. |

Maintained By |
Use the drop-down list box to select the “Maintained By” control unit for which the login user has EC Create permissions. The system retrieves the control units from the “Organisation Model”. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the engineering change request details in the multiline.
The system retrieves all the engineering change details that match the details specified in the above-mentioned fields to the multiline.
The system displays the following in the “ECR Details” multiline:

The description of the engineering change request. |
Requested By |
The person or department who has requested the engineering change. |
Requested Date |
The date on which the engineering change is requested. |
EC Need Date |
The date on by which the engineering change is required to be implemented. |

The status of the engineering change request. |
Maintained By |
The “Maintained By” control unit for which the login user has EC permissions. |

Select the “View Engineering Change Request” link at the bottom of the page to view the engineering change requests.
Select the “View Item Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the item revision details.
Select the “View Component Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the component revision details.
Select the “View Process Plan Revision” link at the bottom of the page to view the process Plan revision details.
Select the “View EC Steps” link at the bottom of the page to view the engineering change steps.
Select the “View Implement Engineering Change” link at the bottom of the page to view the implemented details of engineering changes.
