Hold / Release Stock Transfer Order – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to carry out a search for selecting the order number that is to be put to hold or released. Based on the search criteria specified, you can select the order number. Multiple holding of the selected order(s) is also allowed in this activity. The order number that is in either “Fresh” or “Authorized” status are only retrieved for putting it to “Held” status. The status of the selected order is updated to “Held”.

This activity also allows you to release the selected order number. Multiple releasing of selected order number(s) is also allowed in this activity. The order number that is in “Held” status is only retrieved for releasing. The status of the order on releasing is updated to the status in which it was prior to the “Held” status. You can also specify the reason for which the selected stock transfer order is either put to hold or released. The system saves the details of the selected order along with its associated details.

This activity also allows you to view the attribute details of the selected order number, the schedule details of the items with schedule type set as “Staggered”. You can also view the details of the accounting information and any textual information pertaining to the stock transfer order. The system stores the login user ID and the system date along with the modified details.
