Stock Transfer Order

Introduction

This component facilitates to transfer stock between warehouses in response to distribution requirements with following restrictions:

• The shipping warehouse and receiving warehouses should belong to same company.

• Inter business unit transfer of stock can be done, provided the corresponding system parameter is set to “Yes”.

• Intra site transfer of stock can be done, provided the corresponding system parameter is set to “Yes”.

• Stock transfer order can only be raised on warehouses mapped to shipping organization unit that is., where the pack slip is deployed.

This component caters to all the stock transfer that requires shipping. A stock transfer order can be from one shipping warehouse to multiple receiving warehouses.

Feature Highlights

• Schedule the stock transfer orders at the time of order generation. Reschedule the scheduled stock transfer orders at the shipping point, if necessary, before release for picking.

• Facility to reserve whatever amount of (free stock + firm receipt) available in the shipping warehouse and manually reserves the remaining required quantity on the date available.

• Facility to split the schedule automatically and create demand for the quantity not available to make it available on the available date. Facility to stagger the schedule, manually or split the schedule automatically.

• Raise stock transfer order with “Stock Transfer Receipt” as a reference document for rejected items.

• Automatic generation of stock transfer order from “Stock Transfer Request”.
