This activity allows you to create a resource calendar. Tell me more
Select the “Create Resource Calendar” link under the “Time Model” business component.
The “Create Resource Calendar” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Resource Calendar No. |
The unique number identifying the resource calendar that must be entered manually. Mandatory. |

Press <Enter> key. | |

The resource calendar number should not be left blank. If it is left blank, then the system displays an error message. | |
Click “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the resource calendar details.

Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the resource calendar Mandatory. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. |

Use the drop down list box to select the “Maintained By” control units for which the login user has “View” access permission. The system displays “Default Maintained By” by default on launch of the page. |

Company Calendar No. |
The number identifying the company calendar used during generation of the resource calendar Mandatory. |

The company calendar should not be blank and should exist in the master. Otherwise the system displays an error message. For the specified company calendar, the system retrieves all the company calendar details along with the timetable attached to the day type, if the timetable exists for the day type. | |
Click “Get” pushbutton to display the retrieved Company Calendar details.

Enter the following details in the “Resource Calendar Exceptions” multiline:

From Date |
The start date of the period for which resource calendar exceptions are being defined. If the to date is specified, then the from date should also be specified. The date should be less than or equal to the to date. Otherwise, the system displays an error message. |
Note: For each row entered in the multiline, from date should also be entered.

To Date |
The end date of the period for which resource calendar exceptions are being defined. If the to date is not specified, then the to date is set as “From Date”. The to date should be within the company calendar periods. |

Day Of Week |
Use the drop-down list box to select the seven days of the week. You can select from “Sunday”, “Monday”, “Tuesday”, “Wednesday”, “Thursday”, “Friday”, “Saturday” or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |

Day Type |
Indicates the user-defined day type. For every day type of the company calendar there should be a timetable in the multiline except the day type of type “Holiday” where holiday field is “Checked”. |
Enter the following:

Time Table |
The number identifying the timetable attached to the day type to be used when the system encounters the day type specified Mandatory. All the timetables should exist in the shift details master and should be in “Active” status. |

Remarks |
The comment or remark of the resource calendar. |
Check the box in the “Select” column to select the resource calendar exceptions for creating resource calendar details.
Click the “Create Resource Calendar” pushbutton to create resource calendar.
The system ensures that the login user should have “All” access permissions to the “Maintained By” control unit of the resource calendar. For all the selected and valid rows in the multiline, the from and to dates should not overlap with each other date. If there is an overlap, then at least the day of the week should not be the same or blank for either one of the rows.
The system checks the status of the resource calendar. If the status is “Inactive” or “Draft”, then the system saves the details of the resource calendar and its exceptions without generating any validation. If the status is “Active” then the system generates all the validations and saves the details of the resource calendar and its exceptions.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Edit Resource Calendar” link at the bottom of the page to modify the resource calendar details.
Select the “View Resource Calendar” link at the bottom of the page to view the resource calendar details.
Select the “Create Day Types” link at the bottom of the page to create day type for each day of the week.
The login user ID and the system date are updated in the “Created By” and “Created Date” fields.
The system displays the following:

The login user ID of the person who has created the resource calendar. |

The date on which the resource calendar was created. |
Mandatory
Company calendar number must be defined in “Create Company Calendar” activity of the “Time Model” Business Component.
Timetable must be defined in “Create Shift Details” activity of the “Time Model” component
Optional
Day type must be defined in “Create Day Type” activity of the “Time Model” component.
