Short Close SC Release Slip - A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to short close a SC release slip. When a document is short closed it is suspended permanently.  No future receipt can take place against the “Short Closed” blanket SC release slip. If the items are in transit, then the SC release slip can be short closed only after the delivery of the item. If a portion of the stock has been received, then the SC release slip can be short closed only for the remaining stock items that are not yet received.

Only the documents with the status “Open” or “Amend” can be shortclosed.
