Create Work Order – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create work orders for items that have immediate requirements. You can specify the item for which a work order is to be created along with other details like quantity to be manufactured and the date on which the item is required. This screen facilitates you to specify the work order number manually or generate the number automatically.  You can also select the mode of generating the work order. The mode can be online or batch that represents immediate creation or creation during next MRP run.

You are given the “Edit Work Order” link to modify the work order details, ”Edit WO Product Structure” link   to modify the product structure details of the work order and ”Edit WO Process Plan” link to modify the process plan details of the work order. You are also provided with ”Edit Work Order Notes” link that allows you to modify the note details of the work order and ”Split Work Order” link that allows you to split the work order quantity.
