Add Customer – A summary of the activity
This activity allows you to create the customer. The intended use of this activity is to make the customer master as detailed as possible. The customer is always created at OU level. The data that is required to make a customer active is available at four levels OU, LO, BU and Company Level.
Prospect Customers can be created in this activity. A prospect customer can be converted into a permanent customer. The customer created will be in "Draft" status; only after entering the additional details, the status gets updated to "Active".
This activity also allows you to create customer item details, financial details, customer relationship details, customer item attribute details, bank details, contact person details, selling restriction details and notes in this activity. This activity also allows you to view the price list and the credit term details. The data specified in the financial page is defaulted during invoice creation and credit checking.
You can bulk copy all the information of the existing customers from various Organization Units to the Login OU.
