This page allows you to edit the details of an existing preventive maintenance schedule. Tell me more.

The “Edit PM Schedule” page appears.

PM

The preventive maintenance to be edited (Alphanumeric, 18).

 

The system retrieves the description of the preventive maintenance schedule alongside when you press <Enter>. Enter the modified description of the preventive maintenance schedule (Alphanumeric, 150).

The system retrieves the details of the preventive maintenance schedule.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the field as “Inactive” if you do not wish to refer to the preventive maintenance from other related activities.

PM On

Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which preventive maintenance must be done. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location on which preventive maintenance must be done (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure the following:

 
  • If you have selected “Equipment” in the “PM On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as equipment in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have selected “Location” in the “PM On” field, ensure that the code entered here is defined as a location in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.

The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

Note: You cannot modify the “PM On” and “Code” fields if there is any preventive maintenance work order raised for this equipment or location and if the work order is in a status other than “Completed”, “Canceled” and “Closed”. Once the equipment is modified, all the usage-based schedules, defined for the parameters that are not attached to the modified equipment  will be deleted.

Task/Proc.

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether a task or a procedure must be performed on the equipment or location as preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: “Task” and “SP”. The system displays “SP”, by default.

Code

The identifier of the task or the procedure that must be performed (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure the following:

 
  • If you have selected “Task” in the “Task/SP” field, ensure that the task is already defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 
  • If you have specified “SP” in the “Task/SP” field, ensure that the procedure is already defined in the “Create Procedure ” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status.

PM Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the preventive maintenance. The system lists all the preventive maintenance types that have been defined in the “Define PM Types” activity and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify a preventive maintenance type. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Lead Time For WO Generation (Days)

The number of days required for planning the resources for the work order (Decimal). Ensure that the lead-time is not negative. The system displays “0”, by default.

Execution Agency

Use the drop-down list box to specify the agency, which must execute the preventive maintenance schedule. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Internal – Select this option if the agency that must execute the preventive maintenance is within the plant.

 
  • External – Select this option if the agency that must execute the preventive maintenance schedule is an outside agency.

The system displays “Internal” by default.

WO Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the work order. The system fills in this field with all the work order types that are defined in the “Define WO Types” activity and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any work order type.

WO Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work order that must be created for carrying out the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: “Fresh” and “Scheduled”.

WO Priority

Use the drop-down list box to specify the priority of the work order. The system lists all the priorities that have been defined in the “Define Priority” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any priority.

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the preventive maintenance schedule (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure that the work group is already defined in the “Create Work Group” activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Duration (Hrs.)

The number of hours required for the execution of the preventive maintenance schedule (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive. Also ensure that the duration is not less than the duration of the task or procedure that is specified in the “Task/SP” field. If you leave this field blank, the system considers the duration of the tasks or the procedure that is selected in the “Task/SP” field.

Eqp. Condition

Use the drop-down list box to specify the condition of the equipment based on which the preventive maintenance must be carried out. The system provides the following options:

 
  • Online – Select this option to indicate that the task to be performed on the equipment when the equipment is in operation.

 
  • Offline – Select this option to indicate that the task to be performed on the equipment when the equipment is not in operation, or is in the “Down” state.

 
  • Not Applicable – Select this option to indicate that this task can be performed on equipment when it is either offline or online. Also select this option if the task is to be performed on a location.

WO Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the work order. The system lists all categories that have been defined in the “Define WO Categories” activity of the “Work Order” business component. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any work order category.

Warehouse

The warehouse that will be defaulted to the work orders that have been created for preventive maintenance (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure that the warehouse is already defined in the “Storage Administration” business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions and is in the “Active” status.

Item Status

The status of the item which belongs to the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 25). Ensure that the status is defined for the warehouse in the “Item Administration business component of Ramco Corporate Solutions.

Clearance

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the preventive maintenance. The system provides the options: “Required” and “Not Required”.

Permit Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the permit required. The system lists all permit types that have been defined in the “Define Permit Types” activity of the “Clearance Permit” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank, if you do not wish to specify any permit type.

The system displays the following field:

PM Template

The preventive maintenance template based on which the schedule that is modified is raised.

 

The description of the preventive maintenance template is displayed alongside.

Can PM Template Update This?

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the preventive maintenance schedule can be modified based on any change that has been made on the template from which the schedule has been created. The system provides the options: “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Interval Schedules” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the preventive maintenance schedule.

Created Date

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance schedule is created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the preventive maintenance schedule.

Last Modified Date

The date and time at which the preventive maintenance was last modified.

Specify whether clearance is required or not for carrying out the preventive maintenance

You can specify whether clearance from specific authorities is required for carrying out the work order that is raised based on the preventive maintenance schedule.
