Create SC Release Slip - A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to create a Subcontract Release Slip (SCRS) based on a Blanket Subcontract Order (BSCO). SCRS acts as an order document to the supplier for the delivery of material as per requirement. This form of procurement is normally used for parts that are ordered on a frequent basis.

A BSCO is a long-term contract or agreement with the supplier with regard to supply of subcontracted items. SCRS is the corresponding document that advises the supplier from time to time about the specific subcontracting requirement.

The subcontract release slip will default most of its details from the BSCO for which it is raised. The values can be modified and the SCRS can be approved for further processing
