Create PM Template – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to create preventive maintenance templates to create preventive maintenance schedules. A preventive maintenance template is a predefined format to create a preventive maintenance schedule. This template is created on a set of equipment that is referred to by an item–variant combination. The template can also be created for a set of equipment belonging to equipment group or for a set of locations belonging to a location group. Create a preventive maintenance template

You can create a preventive maintenance template for creating the template based on which preventive maintenance schedules will be created.

Define interval schedules for the created preventive maintenance template

You can define the interval schedules for the preventive maintenance template that you have already created.

• Define interval schedules which can be calendar-based and usage-based.

Define fixed schedules for the preventive maintenance template

You can define fixed schedules for the preventive maintenance template that you have already created.

Define the off-seasonal period

You can define the period for which preventive maintenance need not be carried out on the equipment/location.

• Specify the period for which preventive maintenance need not be carried out on the equipment/location and whether it should be so every year or for the current year only.
