Amend SC Release Slip - A Summary of the Activity

This activity allows you to amend Subcontract Release Slip (SCRS), which is Approved.  After authorization the status of the SCRS changes to “Open”. An “Open” SCRS cannot be modified; it can only be amended. A SCRS can be subjected to multiple amendments. An authorized SCRS may be amended for example when the ordered quantity is changed, when there is a discrepancy between the SCRS and the acknowledgment sent by the supplier, in terms of the quantity and cost.

When a SCRS is amended, the system increments the amendment number of the SCRS.  The system always displays the latest amendment number.

The system checks whether any goods have been received and accepted against the SCRS. If any goods have been received, the SCRS quantity cannot be amended to the quantity lesser than what is already received and accepted.
